THE JOHN GODBER COMPANY PRESENTS
A CHRISTMAS CAROL!
12 December 2021
What a lovely way to end the year! I was recently approached by Martha Godber (Founder of the Godber Theatre Foundation and daughter of John Godber) to ask me to join the cast of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, adapted by John Godber. I was nothing less than over the moon!

The play, directed by Jane Thornton, has been such a delight to work on so far as it has fully kept me on my toes and to expect the unexpected. This was the first production I have ever worked on where going into the process, I had no idea who I'd be playing - a concept which was both super exciting and terrifying simultaneously.

As it happens, I've ended up being cast as a wide plethora of characters: Jacob Marley, Fred, Mr Fezziwig, The Cratchet Family's eldest son, the guy who buys the turkey for Scrooge at the end and I was also the puppeteer for Tiny Tim! *checks notes* Yep, that's all of them.

Truly such a magical, festive show with a brilliant cast and creative team behind it. A Christmas Carol takes place at Hull Minster on December 18th!
