Going to MediaCity always feels great. Interesting and creative people everywhere. It really feels like a place where stuff is happening. Which since beginning of January this year, has been the case for me as I have been back-and-forth to MediaCity numerous times now to the post-production recording studio at Dock 10 to lend myself to two BBC series - Phoenix Rise and Inside No. 9.

Phoenix Rise is a brand new BBC Three series, following the lives of a group of high school students finding themselves as misfits in their school but also as a group - you'd never put this exact group together, but circumstances being what they are, they have no choice. Inside No. 9 has been one of my favourite TV shows for years! Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith never cease to amaze me and to be a small fraction of their genius was wonderful.
